On April 16, the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Arkadi Khachatryan was held.

By the presentation of the Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan, the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on the RA Central Bank was debated.

The legal basis, the aim on register creation and the information included in the registry are defined by the bill.

It was noted that as a result of adoption of the bill and the register creation will increase the efficiency of receiving information, constituting bank secrecy in cases established by the RA legislation of the competent bodies, including the decreasing number of inquiries to banks and ensuring target of inquiries constituting bank secrecy aimed at receiving other information.

The co-rapporteur the NA deputy Yeghishe Soghomonyan urged his colleagues to vote for the bill.

The draft law was endorsed by the committee.
