The NA Deputy of My Step Faction Artak Manukyan proposes to Make Amendments and Addenda to the RA Land Code, the aim of which is to solve the problems emerged during the land auctions being the property of state and public.

According to him, the current regulations of the law are such that some people are given an opportunity to disrupt the holding of land auctions. It is a common phenomenon when some of the participants of an auction propose an unreasonably high price for a land in the beginning, but they later refuse, as a result of which the fair conduct of the competition is disrupted. As a result, the land is sold at a very low price.

For ensuring the transparency, the announcements of the plots put up for auction will be published in the press, posted on azdarar.am website, as well as on the website of provincial administrations

According to the author, the draft law based on his and the Government proposals was revised during the period from the first to the second reading, some amendments were implemented.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan presented the Government endorsement.

On April 9, at the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment , the bill debated in the second reading will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA regular sittings.
