On 2 January 1920, the Austrian being charged with espionage applied to the Judicial Committee of Parliament, requesting to pardon him.
“Being informed that after the war, as a spy, sentenced to torturous work for 15 years the Austrian officer Morokoti made a request to the Parliament, asking to pardon him, and the presidency handed over his petition to the Judicial Committee for examination, I am obliged to inform you that the English Investigation Division obtained a document, which undoubtedly approves the fact of Morokuti being Austrian-German agent.
Informing you about this, I ask you to assign the Judicial Committee to examine that document before giving conclusion about that case, and its copy will be soon sent to you.”
