On April 14, the Parliament continued the debate of the report on the Implementation of the Procedure and the Results of the RA Government Programme for 2020.

The Deputy Chair of the Committee Artak Manukyan gave a speech on behalf of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs . According to him, a crisis situation was in the republic in 2020, as a result of which the Government carried out appropriate management. The executive body only due to the coronavirus pandemic implemented the support programmes of about 210 bln AMD in the financial year. An economic downturn was registered by 7,6% which was also due to the pandemic and the war. The MP effectively evaluated the programmes implemented by the Government which let them to escape from a greater economic downturn. The Government has implemented the support programs of about 33 bln AMD for solving the problems of our compatriots from Artsakh at this moment, the number of the beneficiaries is 110,000. The Governemnt is going to continue the implementation of the support programmes in the amount of 23 bln AMD

“It is important that the macroeconomic stability is ensured,” Artak Manukyan underlined.
