1 / 4
On April 24, the member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pavel Shperov, the Senators of the Federation Council of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Tatyana Kusaiko and Yuri Arkharov accompanied by the NA Deputy Aleksey Sandikov visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex

The Russian Parliamentarians laid flowers at the eternal fire perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

They were also at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the exhibits documenting genocide and made a note in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests.

Tatyana Kusaiko has noted that she completely agrees with the President of her country Vladimir Putin that he considers the assassination of Armenians as a personal pain of Russia: “The visit to the Museum has left a heavy impression on me, and at this very moment I am speaking very excitedly. I understood how important friendship and peace are for the whole the world to prevent such crime against the humanity from not to be repeated. What happened to Armenians is a very hard lesson which we should overcome and take lessons”.

The deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation visited Yerevan Municipality, participating in the “Endangered Heritage: Artsakh” exhibition opening ceremony.

More than 120 photos representing historical-cultural and spiritual heritage of Arstakh, manuscripts and carpets made in Arstakh, as well as the first books published in Shushi are presented in the “Endangered Heritage: Artsakh” exhibition.

The exhibition also includes photos from the archive of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Research on Armenian Architecture (RAA) NGO, the archive of the monument expert Samvel Karapetyan and Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran.
