The Deputy Speaker expressed her gratitude to the Deputy Chair of the Committee on International Relations, included in the delegation, Daniel Ortega, for the statement spread on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide last year which condemned the genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire against the Armenian people.

The speakers have highlighted the Memorandum of Cooperation to be signed between two parliaments during the meeting which will promote the development of the relations between Armenia and the Central America in different spheres. “The Republic of Armenia will become an observer country in the Parliament of the Central America in the near future,” Carolina Fernández stated.
