At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the certificate on the procedure of the 9-month state budget execution was debated. The member of the Audit Chamber Karen Arustamyan presented the conclusion of the Audit Chamber on the item under debate.

It was noted that the audits of the nine-month audits of the state budget execution for 2020 were suspended, the works resumed at the end of 2020. From the beginning the implementation of the audit in 17 state bodies had been designed, which had been carried out only in 16 of them. These are the structures, where the budgetary allocations exceed 10bln AMD. Conditioned by COVID only the audit of the Ministry of Health has not begun, which has resumed in the framework of the annual audit of the state budget for 2020 and it will complete in the near future.

Karen Arustamyan informed that by 26 February 2021 the current conclusions had been approved and sent to the NA, the Government, the entities of audit and posted on the website of the Audit Chamber. Two cases containing only secret information have not been posted. In the framework of 1bln 18mln AMD, 61 inconsistency and 15 distortion cases were recorded, and 42 proposals were presented.

“The results of this audit are better, than the ones of the previous cycle. This means that it is carried out in the right way, and it is preventive significance. The works of the annual audit for 2020 also come to an end,” Arustamyan concluded.
