Parliament 1918-1920: How were They Keeping Copyright in Armenia a Century Ago

The parliament of the First Republic passed a law on Telegraph Agency, as there was need to give necessary information to the internal and external audience: “Article 1. The goal of the Telegraph Agency of Armenia to give other information on political, economic, financial and public interest in Armenia and abroad.”

To provide the exclusiveness of the information the reprinting of the materials was banned within 48 hours after publishing it: “Article 11. It bans the reprinting of the agency telegrams within 48 hours after publishing the bulletins of the agency.”
