On October 21, RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan, received Panayota Mavromichali, the newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Armenia.

During the meeting, the development issues related to Greek-Armenian further relations were discussed and the deepening of the ties between the parliaments was stressed, as the parliaments are the heart of democracy. Both sides highlighted the success of the constitutional amendments having been carried out in Armenia, which will make Armenia closer to the European standards, opined the ambassador. Mrs. Mavromichali noted that the goal of her diplomatic mission is to make the Armenian-Greek relations closer, using the current potential.

They also touched upon the forthcoming visit of the delegation of the Hellenic Parliament, which will participate in the festivity dedicated to the 15^th anniversary of Armenian parliament.
