The Parliament Museum was created in parallel with National Assembly of the Third Republic, but through many years it had no distinct classification or personal description of souvenirs. On 20 September 2018, ahead of Independence Day, a museum section opened in the National Assembly, where the souvenirs, which the parliament had received since 1990, were exhibited. There are nominal gifts, commemorative medals, also an anonymous tray, flower vase, paintings, a samovar, statuettes and statues.

We present the NA Museum exhibits on International Museum Day (IMD). The series of exhibits opens the souvenir-carpet presented as a gift by Megerian Carpet Company during the visit of the delegation led by the President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation Dominique de Buman.

The Delegation led by Dominique de Buman that visited the RA National Assembly in 2018 accompanied with the RA NA President, visited Megerian Carpet Company Museum-Exhibition Hall producing handmade carpets to get acquainted with carpet making Armenian handwriting. At the end of the tour the Megerian Carpet Company gave as a gift a souvenir-carpet, which is preserved in the RA NA Museum until now.
