On May 20, at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and legal Affairs the draft law the RA Criminal Procedure Code was debated in the second reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armen Hovhannisyan noted that there were working debates related to the issue, as a result of which the draft law was revised and specified.

Presenting the final version of the proposing amendments, Hovhannisyan noted that all problematic provisions were removed from the draft law. The Deputy Minister has informed that the proposals are numerous, and time is necessary for carrying out them. It was recommended to postpone the voting of the item.

The legislative packages on the Funds with Inviolable Capital and on Making Addenda to the RA Criminal Code were also postponed up to two months.
