Future Physicists Presented Advantages of Being Engaged with Science

The winners of the Republican Olympiad of Physics are in parliament. They were also interested like numerous children in the causes of originating different phenomena of nature. And with the expectation of studying the answers to all those why questions they began learning physics.

On May 21, the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Hovhannes Hovhannisyan invited the winners of the Republican Olympiad to the National Assembly.

After getting acquainted with the works of the legislative body of the country the pupils visited the museum of the parliament, then – the library.

After presenting the details of the history of the National Assembly, the MP invited them to Yerevan State University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Professor Rafik Hakobyan was waiting for them in the Alma Mater. After introducing them with the long lasting and fruitful activities of the Faculty the Professor expressed hope that the schoolchildren would go back to the Faculty as students.

The future students took a tour in the Chairs of the Faculty, had been in different laboratories. Afterwards they visited Alikhanian National Scientific Laboratory founded in 1943.
