At May 26 sitting, the National Assembly debated the annual programme on the activities of the Commission on Television and Radio for 2020. The Chairman of the Commission Tigran Hakobyan informed that the RA authorities remained faithful to their declared principles and the assumed obligations in 2019 and 2020. During 2020, the commission did not receive significant complaints by the Government on interfering the broadcasters’ editorial and personnel policy, restricting the right to express opinions and impeding the broadcasters’ work.

Most of the received complaints were related to the demand for wearing a mask by the journalists.
