On May 26, the extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Babken Tunyan was held.

The Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan presented for the debate of the committee the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Tax Code with the enclosed package authored by the Government.

The Deputy Minister noted that proposals were not received by the deputies during the period of the first to the second reading. The Government presented a proposal regarding the legislative package.

The draft law aims to create the necessary tax environment for the introduction of the Trade-in system in the car market.

The annual duty will be 1mln AMD in 2022 and in the following years – 2mln AMD by making addendum to the Law on Licensing.

The committee endorsed the legislative package.
