During the NA regular sittings, the Head of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan informed that since 14 January 2019, when the parliament assumed its obligations, 17 members of the Factions had 865 speeches, asked 771 questions, without counting the speeches and questions in the Committees. The Committee made interpellations, put in circulation more than 90 announcements and draft messages. A number of draft laws authored by the Faction were passed, due to which the citizens’ numerous questions were regulated in different spheres. The Head of the Faction also touched upon the activities of PACE, noting that he presented the interests and problems of the Republic of Armenia. As a result of active work, Edmon Marukyan was elected First Deputy Chairman of PACE Committee on Human Rights and Legal Affairs. He also worked in Monitoring Committee.

The Head of the Faction also noted that the member of the Faction Taron Simonyan actively worked in Euronest PA, Ani Samsonyan – in the OSCE PA, and Harutyun Babayan – in the CSTO and in the IPA CIS, in the Friendship Groups, etc. The Head of the Faction urged the voters to get acquainted with the report of about 30 pages of the Bright Armenia and to clarify using the mandates received thanks by the people.
