During the parliamentary briefings held on May 31, the reporter of the Public Television was interested in the reactions on the proposal made by the RA Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the sitting of the Security Council.

As a response to the question, the Head of the NA My Step Faction Lilit Makunts noted: “We can state that there has been a public reaction at least by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, moreover by the participation of all Co-chairs. During the last two days, the RA Acting Prime Minister has mentioned concerning the remaining processes that the RA is ready to talk about other steps taken in his proposal after Azerbaijan responds to its partners, especially to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship and withdraws the armed forces from the RA territory. I think that after the reaction we shall wait for practical steps by the armed forces of Azerbaijan.”

Lilit Makunts, referring to the question about the announcements made by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Zangezur corridor, has underlined that she tends to quote the words and the official opinion of the RA Acting Prime Minister, and not the President of Azerbaijan.

“The RA Acting Prime Minster has noted that they talk and have talked only about unblocking the infrastructures and not the corridor. No process can be started until the Azerbaijani armed forces have not been withdrawn from the RA territory,” Makunts announced.
