On June 8, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Armenia John Gallagher.

Welcoming the guest, Tunyan congratulated Gallagher on being appointed Ambassador in our country and expressed confidence that during his tenure the latter would contribute to the Armenian-British relations.

The interlocutors discussed issues on bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere. The Ambassador expressed readiness for providing professional support in the improvement of the parliament’s legislative works.

The sides touched upon the holding of the snap parliamentary elections to be held in June.
