On June 19, the Secretary of the NA Prosperous Armenia Faction Arman Abovyan, the deputies of My Step Faction Vladimir Vardanyan and Aleksey Sandikov, the deputy of the Bright Armenia Faction Harutyun Babayan met with the IPA CIS Delegation led by the Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Industry, Fuel-Energy Complex, Transport and Communication of the House of the Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Komarovsky, being in Armenia to carry out observation mission in the snap parliamentary elections to be held on June 20.

The representatives of the Factions highlighted the presence of the delegation carrying out observation mission in the electoral process.

The members of the Observation Mission presented the mandate of the mission and their observations on the electoral process.

Touching upon the pre-electoral campaign, the representatives of the Factions noted that despite it passed in the tense atmosphere, but nevertheless, hoped that it would reflect on the electoral process. The deputies of My Step Faction underlined that equal conditions of pre-electoral campaign had been created for all political forces.

The interlocutors expressed conviction that the parliamentary elections would be held in accordance with the international standards – fair, free and transparent. The members of the IPA CIS also are hopeful that the parliamentary elections will be held objective and without fraud.
