On June 30, in accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and the Article 44 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly an extraordinary session of the National Assembly by the initiator’s established agenda was convened.

The NA deputy Gevorg Papoyan presented the NA draft decision on Special Procedure of Debate of RA NA Extraordinary Session Agenda Items, which proposed to organize the debate of a number of draft laws in the second reading after passing them in the first reading within 24 hours.

The RA NA deputy Naira Zohrabyan informed that she took part in the work of PACE Summer Session. She had a private talk with the Head of the Azerbaijani Delegation Samed Seidov, trying to discuss the issue of immediately returning to Armenia without any preconditions the Armenian prisoners of war. “The position of Azerbaijan continues remaining intolerable. Azerbaijan goes on not accepting that the captives are prisoners of war,” the MP noted.

The parliament began the work with the approved agenda.
