On June 30, the extraordinary session of the National Assembly was convened by the initiator’s established agenda.

The package of draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Licensing was debated in the second reading. The RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan has said that the aim of adopting the laws is to have unified criteria of state politics in the field of preschool education and ensure an equal field of conditions and requirements of licensing for preschool organizations. It will promote the increase of responsibility towards preschool education implemented in the field of education, essentially increasing the efficiency for the solution of the existing problems in the system of preschool education.

The NA deputy Hakob Aslanyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee by the co-report.

The NA deputy Sofia Hovsepyan informed that she had a meeting with the directors of the private kindergartens related to the issue, who introduced their concerns. The MP informed about the voiced problems to the relevant ministry.
