During the extraordinary session convened on July 30, the Deputy Director of the National Security Service Stepan Melqonyan presented in the second reading the package of the draft laws on Making Addendum to the Law on State Border and the enclosed ones to the parliament.

At present, the use of drones and photo-video devices on the border zone of the state border of Armenia is not regulated by the law which may have a very negative impact on the state border protection. So, there is a necessity to apply certain restrictions for using photo-video devices on the border zone, including drones.

The legislative package will regulate the use of such devices on the border zone of the state border of Armenia.

Armen Khachatryan presented the endorsement of the Standing (Head) Committee on Defense and Security.

The parliament adopted the legislative package.
