On August 11, the deputies continued debating the item of the election of the Chairs of the NA Standing Committees.

The MP Taguhi Ghazaryan presented Sisak Gabrielyan’s biography and work experience, nominated as a candidate for the post of the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport by the Civil Contract Faction.

The candidate for the Chair of the Head Committee introduced his ideas and further works related to the activity of the Committee. Sisak Gabrielyan has noted that in case of being elected the Committee Chair, he plans to form a parliamentary culture, in particular, to organize meetings with the heads of the structures in the sphere of the Committee, as well as to regularly meet with the ministers of the sphere etc. The speaker has mentioned that it is planned to organize visiting sittings in order to get acquainted with the problems on the spot. Sisak Gabrielyan has underlined that he intends to frequently visit the Armenian Diaspora communities with the members of the Committee.

The candidate for the Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Sisak Gabrielyan answered to the deputies’ questions too.
