At September 14 regular sitting of the RA National Assembly, the Chairman of the NA Counting Commission Narek Babayan informed that the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) nominated Hovsep Bedevyan, Hrach Ayvazyan and Liana Hakobyan as candidates for the vacant position of the judge of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

88 out of 107 deputies of the National Assembly took part in the voting.88 ballot papers were in the ballot box, and 1 out of them was invalid.

According to the proportional voting, 1 deputy voted for Hrach Ayvazyan, 80 deputies for Hovsep Bedevyan, and 6 deputies for Liana Hakobyan.

The NA Speaker Alen Simonyan congratulated Hovsep Bedevyan for being elected candidate of Court of Cassation judge.
