The Federation Assembly highly appreciates fraternal solidarity of the Russian and Armenian peoples, their mutual aspiration for the effective cooperation and deepening of the allied relations between two countries.

Our relations are based on respect of each other’s interests, and it corresponds to the problems of long-term development between Russia and Armenia.

We succeeded in achieving a high level of trust and mutual understanding and in establishing bilateral ties in different spheres.

The inter-parliamentary cooperation plays a significant role in those processes.

I am sure that from now on, the strengthening of the Russian-Armenian inter-parliamentary ties will also promote the inter-state dialogue and correspond to the national interests of the people of our countries.
