At September 24 sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection, moderated by Vahe Ghalumyan, the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on RA Administrative-Territorial Division and the enclosed ones was debated in the second reading.

The RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan informed that some amendments were made on the bases of numerous proposals. In particular, the centre of Araks enlarged community of Armavir marz was moved from Jrarat to Gai settlement. According to the next amendment 8 settlements will unite with Nor Hachn, Nor Hachn and Yeghvard enlarged communities will be.

As a result of voting, the legislative package was endorsed.
