Dear teachers!
On behalf of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport and personally me, I congratulate you on your professional day.
During this historical and hard period for our state the role of your work is undeniable in building our present and future. In the modern world the teachers are not transformers of only simple data, you shape the citizens whose dreams and goals, knowledge and skills will directly decide what future our country will have. All of you in your neighbourhood, village, city should be a source of inspiration for your environment, a forerunner bringing innovation. You tell the children and the teenagers of Armenia about us, we discuss with them the present and tomorrow of our country.
You tell us about us. We are thankful. During the previous year the difficult challenges facing our educational system: the pandemic and the war, your selfless readiness for resisting them, the uninterruptedness of the educational process in those conditions once again showed that the education is a priority in all conditions for our society. During this whole period your work was the important guarantee of the firmness of our rear. The education has always been one of the most important priorities for us, because it is one of the prior warrants of the development of our security, economy and culture.
In the coming years 300 schools will be built and renovated in Armenia, the natural science and engineering laboratories will be created or re-equipped in all 1400 schools of the republic, new educational programmes will be introduced, but all this will be in vain without you, without good teachers, who in that environment will educate and bring up our children. And so, the issue of your working conditions, social guarantees and the continuous rise of the salary. Today, everybody will honour you, there will be a lot of congratulations, we say: thank you dear teacher!
