At November 1 joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security, on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the expenditures envisaged for the RA Police by 2022 state budget were debated.

As the RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan has informed, 66 bln 585.6 mln AMD is planned to allocate to the sphere by the draft budget of the next year.

The RA Deputy Head of Police Ara Fidanyan has stated that it envisaged to implement 2 projects in 2022 and within the framework of it – 11 events.

The Deputy Head also presented the operative situation of nine months in 2021 and underlined that 6,1% growth on crimes was registered. Especially cases of murder, robbery and robbery of cars were raised. Ara Fidanyan highlighted the role and importance of the patrol service introduced in the capital in 2021 on the prevention and detection of crimes. He has informed that there will also be patrol services in Shirak and Lori marzes in April, 2022. These services will be throughout the republic in stages until December 2024. It has also been mentioned that works are carried out with the Ministry of Justice to create a Ministry of Internal Affairs.
