NSS Financial Allocations to Increase by 2022 State Budget

At November 1 joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the allocations of the National Security Service envisaged by 2022 state budget were presented.

The RA NSS Deputy Director Aram Hakobyan has informed that 42 bln 669 mln AMD will be allocated to the service in 2022 which is 8,7 mln AMD more than the approved means of the current year. In 2022, compared to the current year, 381.2 mln AMD more finances will be directed to the Provision of the State Protection programme due to the filling of vacancies and the increase of capital expenditures.

Two programmes will be implemented in the service: the provision of the state protection and the national security. It is envisaged to carry out 11 events within the framework of the programmes.

At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Defense and Security and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, revenues and expenditures on defense and state reserves were also debated behind the closed doors.
