Absolute Growth of Tax Revenues Has Been Registered in Current Year: Rustam Badasyan

On November 2, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Rustam Badasyan presented the revenues and expenditures envisaged by the RA Law on the RA 2022 State Budget.

According to the rapporteur, in January-October 2021, the absolute growth of tax revenues compared to the same period of 2020 was about 144bln, 12,7% more taxes were collected. Tax revenues collected in Armenia in January-October 2021 increased by 12,7% compared to the same period of last year.

Referring to the registered jobs, the SRC Chairman has noted that the number of people having tax bases is 651.141 AMD. According to him, this is an absolute record in history, there has never been such an active taxpayer. The average salary of per person is 223.137 AMD, and the total tax base has been 145,294 AMD.
