Budgetary Allocations and Programmes of Ministry of Hi-Tech Industry are at Core of Legislators’ Debate

At November 2 joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the budgetary allocations and the designed programmes of the RA Ministry of Hi-Tech Industry were debated.

5,2bln AMD out of 21,3Bln AMD to be allocated to the Ministry by the draft law will be directed to the targeted scientific and scientific-technical researches in the sphere of defense.

The RA Minister of Hi-Tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan informed that in the spheres of high technology industry and digitization within the framework of the 12,6bln AMD industry, ecosystem, market development and digitization programme would be implemented.

By the EU joint financing it is designed to implement 6 events of digitalization within the framework of 1,7bln AMD. 105mln AMD are for digitalization standards are worked out. According to the Minister, the state administration digitalization is designed to carry out by the institutional approach. The Ministry of Hi-Tech Industry will be a specialized structure on digitalization.

Within the framework of the Trade and Infrastructure Development programme being implemented by the World Bank support, about 9.7bln will be allocated. In the sphere of telecommunication, it is designed to allocate 2,5bln AMD for the improvement of the communication services and infrastructures.
