It is Envisaged to Implement New Social Programmes

Financial allocations for social security, allowances and pensions envisaged in the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022 were debated on November 5, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Labor and Social Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

The RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan has noted that it is planned to increase the amount of the minimum pension and social benefits in 2022. The aim of the programme Support Vulnerable Social Groups is to assist in the improvement of the living standards of vulnerable families. More than 37mln AMD will be allocated for more than about 97.216 families.

The amount of care allowance will be increased in the next year, it will be 28.600 AMD instead of 26.500 AMD from January 1.

A new event directed to the improvement of the demographic situation will be carried out in the coming year. In order to promote the birth rate and provide state support to the large families, after 2022 July 1, on the birth of the third and each subsequent child, the child’s parent will be appointed and financial support will be paid until the child reaches the age of 6, in the amount of 50.000AMD. 2.925.0mln AMD will be allocated to the implementation of the event.

The programme Support Vulnerable Social Groups is envisaged for 130.687 beneficiaries. 9.949.8mln AMD is envisaged.
