At the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the High Commissioner of the Office for Diaspora Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Staff Zareh Sinanyan presented the budgetary allocations and the expenditure programmes for 2022 of the Office. About 578mln 945.000 AMD will be provided to the Office. It will implement its activities in two directions. About 374mln 619.000 AMD will be directed to Armenia-Diaspora Cooperation program, and 204mln 325.000 AMD – to the Diaspora NerUzh (potential) Involvement Program.
The educational and informative Step Toward Home Program will be carried out in 4 phases with the participation of 400 persons. 11mln 806.000 AMD will be provided for the implementation of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program. 123mln 872.000 AMD will be directed to iGorts Program for the involvement of the Diaspora Armenian specialists in the RA and Artsakh governments. 60mln AMD will be provided to Armenia-Diaspora cooperation awareness Program.
The Program Work in Diaspora Communities will be implemented. Visits to more than 24 communities of Diaspora will be organized. 51mln 45.000 AMD will be given from the budget for the implementation of the event.
According to Zareh Sinanyan, the principle of one window for the repatriation integration will function for making the integration easy. The event is carried out with the participation of Hrayr Hovnanian Foundation. It is designed to provide 34mln 245.000 AMD.
