On November 10, at the sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated the draft law on Amending the RA law on Setting the Border Size of the Minimum Insurance Cover of Aircraft Operator’s Responsibility.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan has noted that the bill sets the border sizes of the minimum insurance cover of aircraft operator’s responsibility for compensation the possible damages caused to the third persons, passengers, luggage or baggage in cases of transportations being carried out to Armenia, outside Armenia or on the territory of the republic as a consequence of their activities.

As a result of the draft adoption, border sizes of the minimum insurance cover of aircraft operator’s responsibility will be consonant with the border sizes set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The legislative initiative was endorsed.
