NA Deputies Meet with Pupils and Pedagogues of Malatia-Sebastia Community of Capital

On November 16, the pupils and the pedagogues of Norik Khachatryan Basic School N 113 in Yerevan visited parliament within the framework of the NA Open Lesson Programme. They followed the work of the NA regular sittings from the box of parliament, got acquainted with the daily life of parliament.

The Open Lesson was held by the deputies of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Sona Ghazaryan and Arsen Torosyan. Welcoming the guests in the legislative body, the speakers highlighted the role and significance of an educated citizen in the development of our country.

The range of pupils’ questions was comprehensive: they were about economic development, education, tax and customs reforms, and the immediate return of Armenian prisoners of war and other captives held in Azerbaijan.

The deputies stressed the need of targeted activities of both the legislative, and the executive bodies, as well as all organizations and individual citizens for the future of the country.

Arsen Torosyan underlined the importance of vaccinations in the fight against the pandemic.

Referring to the issue of the captives’ return, Sona Ghazaryan informed that recently, the Luxembourg’s parliament called on for the immediate return of all Armenian captives being in Azerbaijan by the unanimously adopted resolution. “Not only our country, but also the Russian Federation, Georgia and a number of European states and organizations are engaged in this issue. We think that the problem will be solved soon,” the deputy said.

At the end of the meeting, the speakers wished the pupils to study well and to become full citizens of Armenia.
