Dear Chair, colleagues

In reality, Armenian nation has been through an important stage in the establishment of its sovereign statehood. And this ordeal we’ll bear with dignity pass. I will return some people’s words, calling on to forget a lot. Now, betraying Armenia is a betrayal. The entire Armenian nation must unite, forget all external and internal differences and behave like in war. I have time and again said that the war is not over and today we live through the most important stage of sovereignty. Our enemy takes into account our disagreements, while showing such audacity. They must face a wall. They must know that we’ll put aside everything for our state and sovereignty. Anybody who does not realize Armenia, betrays Armenia will be considered a traitor. We will not allow that this hall should be full. I hope it will be like that tomorrow. We shall not accuse each other. Let’s forget all this. I think that the political power will find a solution. I am for announcing martial law in the country.

Any state has its security cushions. Our state has two such cushions: the CSTO and Russia. If those two cushions don’t work, we’ll refuse them. we have no time. Let them think they have taken this obligation. Russia has taken obligations, and it has to think if they fulfill the obligations. The President of Russia has signed it. Shall the fascist Azeri leader respect the signature of the Russian President? Don’t you think we are in desperate situation? It has been two years the politics has been imposed on Armenia from outside by the inner forces of the country. The purpose was to cause ungovernable chaos, which failed. And it won’t be succeeded. We shall rule it out. I am sure our people shall not be confused. It’s a difficult situation but the Armenian people must unite. We shall not repeat 1920 situation. Today, we shall take lessons from history. We are capable of protecting our security. Let the security cushions think if they are really security cushions, but not deflated balloons.
