On November 19, the briefings following the NA regular sittings were held. Eduard Aghajanyan, Andranik Kocharyan and Artur Hovhannisyan from the Civil Contract Faction were present. The journalist was interested in the fact with whom the Prime Minister debated the proposal of Russia on beginning the demarcation and delimitation works. According to the journalist, the Prime Minister’s announcement on beginning such process has been a surprise for the public, “Has the Prime Minister accepted that decision unanimously?” the journalist asked.
In response to the question, Eduard Aghajanyan noted that the Prime Minister repeatedly announced on the interest and the concern to begin the demarcation and delimitation works. “As the Prime Minister announced, Armenia accepted that proposal and notified about that to the Russian side. After reaching an agreement on certain technical issues Armenia is ready to shape a Committee and start the works. Armenia is concerned about starting the work as soon as possible.”
Eduard Aghajanyan considered early speaking about the content at this moment. To Artur Hovhannisyan’s assessment, the works of such character are not done publicly, as they are connected with human lives. “The secrecy is very necessary, as it is related to the alignment of the deployed forces on the border at this moment too. It must be done very carefully, in order not have new places for shooting,” Andranik Kocharyan added.
