On November 22, the Head of the RA NA Delegation Babken Tunyan and the members of the NA Delegation Anush Beghloyan and Sergey Bagratyan in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) took part in the works of the 58th PABSEC plenary session via videoconference.
A number of agenda items were discussed.
Babken Tunyan gave a speech on Acceleration of Digitalization and Innovative Development to Increase the Degree of Transparency of the Legislative Process Efficiency and the Parliamentary Activities. It has been noted that the UN Development Programme carries out technical re-equipment and digitalization of the National Assembly. Modern standards related to the voting and security will be introduced through E parliament system.
During the meeting, the new mandates of new members of the Armenian delegation Gegham Manukyan and Sergey Bagratyan were confirmed.
The proposal of the Armenian delegation related to the theme on the Objectives and Problems of Cooperation in the field of Education in the Black Sea Region after the Pandemic was discussed and unanimously adopted in the Culture, Education and Social Affairs Committee.
At the meeting, the PABSEC Chairmanship was transferred to the Russian Federation for 6 months. The PABSEC has 12 member states. The Northern Macedonia will soon join the international organization.
