At November 30 extraordinary sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security debated the issue of the election of the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee. The NA Armenia Faction again nominated Artur Ghazinyan’s candidacy. The member of the Committee Gegham Manukyan has noted that until the final solution of the issue, the candidate of the Armenia Faction will be Artur Ghazinyan, and he has announced, that the opposition members of the Committee will not participate in the debate of the issue.

As a result of voting, the members of the Civil Contract Faction rejected Artur Ghazinyan’s candidacy.
