On December 1, at the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, the RA Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Rustam Badasyan submitted for debate in the first reading the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code. It has been noted that the transfer pricing regulations established by law have entered into force from January 1, 2020, however, there are not relevant legal bases for the necessary tax administration. The purpose of the draft is to bring the already established regulations in line with international approaches, as well as to set the procedures for tax control.

The SRC Chairman has also informed that new amendments are envisaged in the bill after the first reading.

The Chair of the Standing Committee Vahe Hakobyan and the Deputy Chair of the Committee Babken Tunyan proposed to postpone the debate of the issue, and the key rapporteur agreed with it.

The debate of the legislative initiative has been postponed for up to two months.
