Babken Tunyan Meets with Students of YSU Faculties of International Relations and European Languages and Communication

On February 11, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Babken Tunyan met with the fourth year students of the Faculties of the International Relations and European Languages and Communication of Yerevan State University, who were having their cognitive practice in the National Assembly.

Babken Tunyan has highlighted such meetings, underlining that, first of all, they are necessary for the parliamentarians. According to him, this meeting is a good occasion to communicate with the representatives of the generation who will rule the country in the future.

The MP presented to the future diplomats and linguists the structure of the legislative body, gave details of the debate procedure of the bills.

By the proposal of the Committee Deputy Chair the meeting was held in Q & A session. The students of the Faculty of the International Relations were interested in the foreign policy of Armenia. The Armenian-Turkish relations, particularly the positive and negative sides of the possible opening of the border were at the core of the issues. The students also touched upon the issues relating to the military industry, the inflation, as well as minimal salary.

Answering to the question regarding the military industry, Babken Tunyan has underscored that first of all, it is conditioned by the development of the country’s economy.

At the end of the meeting the students assured that the meeting was held in a sincere atmosphere, and they received the answers to all questions concerning them.
