On March 16, the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection moderated by Vahe Ghalumyan convened its regular sitting.

The Report on Implementation Process and Results of the RA Government Programme for 2021 (2021-2026) approved by the N 234-A Decision of the RA Government on February 28, 2022 was debated.

The RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan noted that the policy of the Government was directed particularly to the productivity rise, the effective use of the expedient and water resources of the land resources, as well as the rise of the level of the food security, the development of the veterinary, plant growing, the investment of the modern technologies, the realization of the produced goods and the export boosting of.

The rapporteur presented in detail the large scale of works done in the sphere during the financial period.

It was noted that during the year 2021, the subsidy programme of the loan interest being provided in the sphere of agriculture, within the framework of which during the financial period 29487-point loan was allocated, about 72,9bln AMD in total. The total sum of subsidizing was about 9.8bln AMD.

According to the Minister, within the framework of the state support programme of autumn wheat production boosting in the RA about 4000 contracts was signed, 4050,4 tons of high quality seeds were obtained, sowing was carried out 13000 ha of plots of land. 3736 contracts were signed within the framework of the state support programme for boosting the production of the spring grain, legumes and the fodder crops.
