On April 19, in the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs of the National Assembly with the participation of the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan and other representatives of the Ministry the proposals received on the draft law of the RA Labor Code amendments were debated once again in work order.

The theme of the debate was the issue of the need of the additional mechanism affirmation directed to the protection of the women’s working rights and the dignified attitude deprived of sexual violence in the workplace, on which the NGOs involved in the women’s rights presented proposals. It has been suggested to fix distinct mechanisms in the draft of the RA Labor Code, which are aimed at preventing violence at workplace.
