The legislative and the executive bodies carry out continuous work for mitigating the manifestations of the climate changes in the sphere of agriculture and more effectively using the water resources.

At April 17 sitting of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Land Code authored by the deputies of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Vagharshak Hakobyan and Khachatur Sukiasyan was debated in the second reading. As Vagharshak Hakobyan presented, an opportunity was given by the draft law to reduce the taxes being paid by the citizens being engaged with the activities related to the swimming pools.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan presented the proposals of the executive body. In all cases of the construction of the swimming pools for irrigation, privilege of exempting from the payment of the plot cadastre cost will function, and the simplified order of the amendment of the plot purposeful significance will only be used for the construction of the swimming pools with the volume of up to 100.000 cubic metres.

Emphasizing the economically use of the water resources, it was proposed to vote for the draft law.

The revised draft law was endorsed.
