On May 2, the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission celebrated the 25th anniversary of its establishment.
The RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan, the RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, the representatives of the Government and the officials took part in the festive event.
The Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan noted that the regulation of public service has a great socio-economic significance, and the activity of the Commission is elated to every citizen of the country, every entity and the state interests.
In his congratulatory speech, the Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan emphasized the important role of the Commission in the development of the state, which, in fact, plays a regulatory role between the society, business and the Government.
According to the NA Vice President, in many spheres, such as energy, postal, water, telecommunication spheres, the direct influence of the state is very risky, because public, business and state interests are presented here. “The activity of the Commission is very important from this point of view,” Hakob Arshakyan said.
Highly appreciating the activity of the current Chairman and the members of the Commission, the NA Vice President wished them new successes in the important role.
Thanking for wishes, the RA Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Garegin Baghramyan presented the activity of the 25-year structure.
