The performances of funds allocated from the state budget in 2021 and the implemented programs in the sphere of territorial administration, nature protection, environment, agriculture and a number of other spheres were discussed at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs convened on June 3.

The RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan presented the financial allocations to the above-mentioned spheres and the measures taken.

So, the Minister of Environment carried out 6 programs with 31 measures in 2021. 7 billion 213 million AMD was actually provided. The performance was 78.6%. It is 7.7% more than the previous year.

The Ministry of Economy had 14 programs with 71 measures, the annual plan was actually 43 billion 390.5 million AMD, the performance was 94.9% - 27.6% more than the previous year.

115.5 billion AMD was allocated to the budget of the communities in 2021. It is 6.8% more than the previous year, the performance was 97.2%.

5 billion 475.5 million AMD was allocated to the regional administrations, the performance – 98.6%.

The RA Minister of Environment Hakob Simidyan noted that the total allocation for the maintenance of the apparatus of the Ministry and the program implementation office, including the expansion of technical capabilities was 1 billion 57.3 million AMD in 2021. The financing of the 9 SNCOs of the system was 3 billion 115.3 AMD, including 1 billion 27 million AMD to the 6 SNCOs managing specially protected areas of nature, which was mainly directed to the payment of salaries of the employees and maintenance expenditures.
