“According to the current procedure, a person who wants to be engaged in the organization of trade centers, markets for consumer and agricultural products, submits a notification to the RA Ministry of Finance,” the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan noted at the extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs held on June 8.
The legislative initiative of the Government envisaging amendment to the Law on Trade and Services was debated in the first reading at the extraordinary sitting of the Committee.
According to the rapporteur, considering that the types of activities of trade centers, markets for consumer and agricultural products are mainly related to the main areas of activity assigned to the Ministry of Economy, it is proposed to amend the law, and to establish the Ministry of Economy as an authorized body in that regard.
The NA deputy Hovik Aghazaryan proposed to vote in favor of the draft law, noting that as a result of the legislative amendment, more favorable conditions will be created for economic entities.
The Committee endorsed the draft law.
The Committee debated in the second reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Aviation.
Armen Simonyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, informed that technical amendments were made and the proposals submitted by the Government were accepted.
The Committee endorsed the bill.
The draft laws will be debated at the extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly to be convened on June 9.
