It is Proposed to Reduce Fines for Not Having CMTPL
1 / 2

“It is proposed to reduce the fines for driving a car without a Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability (CMTPL) contract,” Armen Khachatryan noted during the debate of the draft law in the first reading on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Offenses.

This draft authored by the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction Armen Khachatryan, Kristinne Poghosyan and Lilit Kirakosyan was debated at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security convened on June 10.

According to the rapporteur Armen Khachatryan, if the offender eliminates the features of the offense within 48 hours from the moment of detection of the administrative offense, he/she is released from the obligation to pay 75% of the imposed fine, if he/she presents the relevant evidence of it to the authorized body within the same period.

The Committee endorsed the draft.

The debate of the draft law on the Regulation of the Circulation of Weapons authored by the deputies of the NA Civil Contract Vilen Gabrielyan, Andranik Kocharyan and Armen Khachatryan was postponed up to two months.
