The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the deputies Arpine Davoyan and Vladimir Vardanyan is conditioned by specifying the issues related to the proceedings of the criminal cases with corruption alleged crimes under investigation, distribution of cases, as well as by the dictate of the carrying out decent and qualitative pre-examination.

The legislative initiative was debated in the first reading at the NA extraordinary session convened on July 6.

Effective, multi-lateral and objective investigation of the alleged corruption character is expected to ensure by the adoption of the draft.

The RA Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee Mushegh Babayan noted that the legislative initiative is aimed at specifying the regulations of the Criminal Procedure Code.

He called on the MPs to vote for the draft.

The parliament adopted all the legislative initiatives debated during the day by voting.
