On July 5, the delegation of the RA NA Armenia-Germany Friendship Group within the framework of the visit to Berlin met with the Foreign Policy Spokesman of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) of the FRG Bundestag Nils Schmid, deputies of the same Faction of the Bundestag Dirk Wiese, Johannes Schraps and Martin Gerster.

During the meeting issues on the regional situation, international cooperation and the expansion and deepening of bilateral parliamentary relations were discussed.

The Armenian delegation presented the post-war situation in Armenia and in the region, voiced the challenges of the protection of the Armenian cultural heritage. The main issues related to the implementation of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement were discussed.

Both sides highlighted the steps aimed at the parliamentary cooperation.
