A group of employees of the secretariats of the RA NA Standing Committees and deputies’ assistants participated in the first stage of the Communication School of the NA Standing Committees organized within the framework of the USAID Strengthening Electoral Processes and Political Accountability in Armenia program, which took place on May 18 to July 3.

On July 12, James De Witt, the Director of the Armenian branch of the International Republican Institute (IRI), handed over certificates to the participants of the course. He expressed his appreciation to the colleagues of parliament for supporting the implementation of the program. According to him, the participants of the course received basic knowledge about providing information to the media on the work of the committees, as well as about presenting it on social networks.

The employees of the Public Relations and Communication Department of the NA Staff had already participated in the two-month course the NA Communication School and received certificates.

It is planned to start the second stage of the course in October of this year.
